As Comfortable as They Look

I just wanna share a bit of what I have experienced so far. Well, I'm gaining weight for almost 9 kgs for the past 9 months. I used to wear a small or medium-sized clothes but now I keep all my small-sized clothes tidy in my wardrobe. I was kinda stressful since I didn't have enough clothes at that time and luckily my husband helped me by giving me some money to buy bigger-sized clothes. And what happens now? I don't feel comfortable wearing such tight clothes again since I'm not confident enough to show my figure. Also, wearing heels too long makes my feet and legs tired. I think it's because my legs have to stand heavier burden. Some women may experience the same thing as what I experience. Therefore, I wanna give a bit advice for those who have the same problem as me. I hope that it will be useful :)
  • A-line cutting for dresses
I adore this cutting. Why? It's because this cutting can help you to cover your figure's weaknesses especially when your body's lower part is bigger than the upper. I don't feel confident to wear sleeveless dresses so I will try to find sleeved dresses or wear cardigans or blazers. When I wear a cardigan or blazer, I won't use the buttons or let the front part open. It will give you more freedom to move your arms and make your figure look balance.

  • Brighter Tops and Darker Bottoms
I always think brighter bottoms make my lower body especially my hip and things look bigger. Therefore, I enjoy wearing darker bottoms because they create such a slimmer figure. If you are confident, you can wear a patterned tops. Since I like plain tops, whenever I wear them I will use a necklace, the statement necklace, to distract people's attention from the plain or maybe dull look.

  • Last but not least, Loose Tops
As I have already told you before, about my confidence in wearing tight clothes, I prefer wearing loose tops to cover the weaknesses in your upper body's part. It doesn't mean that you will look big, nope. As long as you are smart at combining your top and bottom, loose tops can be your first choice. You can move as freely as you can :) Ah, one more thing. If you like wearing jeans or trousers, it's better to choose flare ones instead of following the trends of wearing skinny jeans. However, if you enjoy wearing skinny bottoms, I suggest you mix them with longer tops.

A Relaxing Day with Sneakers

High heels are closely related to women's world, but how about sneakers? Well, we know this kind of shoes are usually used by men. In fact, sneakers aren't made for men only. We can also wear them. Perhaps most people think that sneakers are dedicated for those who are tomboy or have a little bit masculinity in them. In my opinion, such thought isn't really true. As a woman, of course we are obliged to look feminine or at least show a little bit femininity in our appearance. How to do that? Of course wearing high heels is one of the answers. But wearing them every day isn't really good for our health. We need to give our legs some time to relax their muscles. Keep your high heels for a moment in the closet. Wear your flats or sneakers and start your activities. If you have some problems in mixing sneakers with the outfit, here are some ideas that can help you.

Outfit for walking around or shopping

Outfit for ladies' night

Best Eyeliner for You

When we do our make-up, we can't leave eyeliner behind. It helps our eyes to look more attractive and sharp or even it can make your eyes look smaller or bigger. If you wanna try to use eyeliner for the first time, you need to know types of eyeliner before deciding to buy it.

Types of Eyeliner
  • Eyeliner Pencil has many kinds of colours. Since it is relatively easy to use and some of them aren't water proof, it is the best choice for beginners. However, the color produced won't be as thick as the other types of eyeliner. So, if you're still trying to boost your confident in using eyeliner, you should use it.

  • Liquid Eyeliner is for a more professional user. It requires a steady hand to create such a flawless line like Cleopatra's eyes. The color produced of course is stronger than the eyeliner pencil. When you decide to use it, make sure you prepare some make up remover just in case you make mistake while drawing the line. This eyeliner becomes "the goddess" for make-up artists.

  • Gel Eyeliner comes in a gel texture and packed in a pot. How to apply it? You need to use a small brush. Similar to liquid eyeliner, gel eyeliner requires technique. Once you have mastered it, it will be easy to use. Moreover, it can create such a bold line. If you wanna have catlike eyes, you can also use this.

  • Solid Gel Automatic Pencil is more portable and convenient than gel eyeliner. Yet, the use of it may not as easy as pencil eyeliner. It is usually more vibrant and darker. The good thing of this eyeliner is it is long-lasting.

  •  Eye Shadow Eyeliner needs a small, angled make up brush when you wanna apply it. This eyeliner doesn't work when you put it along the waterline area on your eyes. Apply it along the lid lines. You can also combine it with liquid, gel or pencil eyeliner to create such a dazzling look.

Now you already know the types of eyeliner. Choose the one that you like most and get ready to make your eyes look extravagant. Here are some samples of eyeliner forms, hope it will help you :)

How to Mix Plain Tops

Plain tops can sometimes be a problem because they do not have any patterns. When we use them, our look becomes so plain and less interesting. So, are there any ways to deal with such matter? Of course, we have. Here are some ideas to make your plain look change into fashionable.

Patterned Skirts, Shorts or Pants
Matching your plain top with this bottom. The patterns will cover your top's plainness and give more attractive look.

Blocked Color Skirts
Since color block became trend last year, it does not mean that you're old fashioned. Color block will create such an extravagant look and it represents your colorful life.

Necklaces
Necklaces are one of the must have things that you need to keep at home. Besides, they are easy to mix and match especially when you have plain tops. Yet, I prefer wearing long necklaces or bold necklaces instead of wearing small necklaces since they do not attract attention because of their size.

Scarves
If you are too lazy to be bothered wearing necklaces, you can also use scarves, whether they are no patterns or with patterns. Moreover, you can make your neck warmer in winter :)

Brooches
If you want to look more formal, you can choose brooches to accessorize your plain top. If your plain top has light material, do not choose a hard-material brooch since it can tear your top.

I hope these ideas will help you to be more fashionable. Remember, being fashionable does not mean that you have to wear latest style clothes. Is is all about you. You can create a stunning look by mixing and matching your clothes.

Tribal Prints

Clothes become more and more interesting and eye-catching. Not only they come in different cuts, but they also have different patterns. After color blocked became trend last year, not tribal prints start to emerge. This print is amazing since it has many kinds of patterns. For those who like vintage style, tribal prints can be one of the options you can choose. Even though tribal prints provide such a traditional or classical look, it doesn't mean that you can look older. If you are good at mixing them with other clothes, you can have a classy yet stylish look.

Dare to be different? :)

If I were ...

I've been dealing with kids, teenagers and adults for about 6 years. Since the first day I signed the contract till now, I have never worn a skirt or even a dress to work. It's not because I have an allergy to this feminine attire. It's merely because I just wanna move freely. You know, being a teacher isn't that easy. Sometimes I have to sit down on the floor with them or even join the kids playing games in class, running, dancing and things like that. Can you imagine if I wear a skirt or a dress while doing these active movements? O.M.G maybe I'll tear it LOL...

Anyway, I can't deny that I'm getting more feminine. Back to when I was still young, I used to be so tomboy and avoid wearing that feminine attire. I just didn't feel confident to wear them. But I have already turned the page and now here I am. Feeling much more confident while wearing it ^^

If I had the chance to teach my students without being asked to move a lot ...
If I didn't have to obey the rules ...
If I were confident enough ...

I would wear this lovely work attire ^^

3 bold colours

Black, white and red....
They are bold colours which give different effect as you wear them. Black and its mystery yet gives slimmer look. White and its purity which represents cleanliness to those who wear it. And then, we have red which means hot and brave. Can you imagine if we mix them in our outfits? What will these colours symbolize then?

What can you see, girls? Mystery, purity or bravery? Or these mixed outfits create their own symbols? ^^

Black, Must Have Item!

Sometimes we get confused on mixing and matching our clothes. We are too afraid of making wrong choice. If you don't want to spend your time worrying which tops suit your trousers or jeans well, get a pair of black trousers or a black skirt. These bottoms are your angels, girls. You do not need to feel confused again since they are flexible. Any color will do, trust me :)

Hubby's Styling

My husband hmm if I am asked to describe him in three words, here are the answers: perfectionist, hard-working and loving. The thing that he's lazy about is going to malls. He prefers staying at home rather than spending his time in those kinds of places. Yet, there is a funny thing when it comes to shopping. See, my husband doesn't go shopping as much as I do. Yet, when he needs to buy some things like shirts, trousers or jeans, he can spend more than I do. So, actually who loves shopping then? xoxo....

You know that I enjoy mixing and matching clothes, so I've tried to do those things to make my husband become more fashionable.

 * He wants to look more casual while we're having a date on Sunday morning*

*Casual yet appropriate style for attending the family gathering*

*A pair of leather shoes matched with formal outfit to start his working days*

*Bring his favourite color in his formal outfit*

He said, "In a business world, a simple thing like a watch can boost men's pride."
Now, I know the reason why you have more than two watches, dear :)
